Save A motorcyclist and a pillion passenger have been flown to hospital after hitting a road barrier in the Waikato today.
State Highway 1 at Rangiriri has been partially closed following the crash just after 9am, police said.
Southbound traffic was being diverted 50m north of the Rangiriri Tavern.
The northbound
lanes remained open.
Two people suffered serious injuries and had been flown to Waikato Hospital by rescue helicopter.
