Two people have been taken to hospital this evening following a two-car crash on Dilworth St, Christchurch.
One person's injuries were described as serious, while the other suffered moderate trauma.
The incident took place at about 5.14pm, confirmed St John.
"We sent two ambulances and a rapid response to the
scene", confirmed the spokesperson Ian Henderson.
Police said they were alerted to the crash by members of the public and St John.
