Two people are injured after a car hit a parked car outside a Christchurch dairy.
Emergency services were working to free one person shortly before 8pm.
The way the car had been hit meant access to the patient was difficult, but they were not technically trapped, fire services said.
St
John said one person had been seriously injured and the second sustained moderate injuries when the accident happened around 7.20pm on Hampshire St.
The incident was about 100m down the road from the Hampshire dairy.
