Two in hospital after tomahawk attack

Two men are in Middlemore Hospital after a tomahawk attack at a central Manukau house.

One man was undergoing emergency surgery today.

Police were called to the house in King St, Puhinui, about 4.30pm yesterday.

A St John spokesman said ambulance officers found one man with serious head injuries and his brother with moderate wounds.

Police want anyone who saw two Polynesian men in a black four-wheel-drive Subaru Forester in the area at the time to phone (09) 261-1327.
