Two hurt, one critically, as motorcycle and car crash in Auckland

Emergency services are attending a motorcycle and car crash on Jervois Road in Ponsonby, Auckland.

One person is critically injured and another seriously injured after a motorcycle and car crashed on Jervois Rd in Ponsonby, Auckland.

Both of the people injured were on the motorcycle, police said.

The serious crash unit are on scene.

The crash has blocked three of the four lanes on the street. Only the west-bound lane remains open.

Diversions are in place at Islington St and John St.
