Two freed from wreckage after car, truck collide near Blenheim

People have been freed from the wreckage of a truck and car collision near Blenheim.

Two people were trapped when fire services reached the scene on the corner of State Highway 6 and Rapaura Rd just after 3.30pm.

A fire communications spokesman says one person was trapped in each vehicle.

A St John spokesman says one ambulance responded.

One person was taken to hospital with moderate injuries, and one with minor injuries.
