The Health Minister has appointed two Crown monitors to oversee the Whanganui District Health Board.
Phillip Meyer and Dr Robert Logan will report to David Cunliffe on the board's progress.
Their appointments follow scathing reports on the DHB's performance, in particular the hiring of disgraced obstetrician Roman Hasil.
