Two children have been injured, one seriously, after being hit by a car outside a New Plymouth school.
Emergency services were called to the incident outside Spotswood College, South Rd, about 3.30pm, police confirmed.
A St John spokesperson said one person had been seriously injured, while another had moderate injuries.
Both were taken to Taranaki Base Hospital.
