A Wellington train line has been blocked and traffic on State Highway 1 are delayed after a two-vehicle crash at Porirua today.
The crash happened about 6pm on SH1, police said.
One vehicle is blocking the highway, while another has ended up on the main trunk rail track, blocking the
line.
At this stage it was believed that injuries to those involved in the crash were relatively minor, police said.
Commuter trains on the Paraparaumu line have been stopped at Porirua (northbound) and Paremata (southbound).
Northbound traffic on SH1 will be disrupted and delayed until the scene can be cleared.
