Two arrested after stolen car crashes on wrong side of road

Two people have been arrested after a crash involving a stolen car on Great South Rd at Greenlane in Auckland.

Police are at the scene of the crash, which happened just before 1.20pm and have closed part of Great South Rd while the serious crash unit investigate.

The arrested pair allegedly burgled a property in Onehunga and were driving the wrong way along Great South Rd when they crashed into an oncoming car.

Police could not give any further information, but confirmed no one had been injured. The investigation was ongoing.
