Two males armed with a hammer have robbed a South Auckland Subway shop this evening.
A police spokeswoman said the offenders entered the sandwich shop on Fair Mall in Otara and threatened a shop assistant with the hammer.
They made off with money and a cellphone. Nobody was injured in
the robbery, she said.
Police were called to the incident at 7.15pm. They are still making inquiries.
