TVNZ in charter rap over Maori content

Television New Zealand has been given another rap over the knuckles over how it interprets its charter - this time from Parliament's Maori affairs select committee.

MPs have said it is unfair TVNZ gets $5.58 million from Te Mangai Paho - the Maori equivalent of NZ on Air - for the programmes to be screened at times few people are watching.
