Numerous offers have been received for a slice of Kiwi paradise that attracted local buyers as well as interest from Switzerland, North America and the UK.
Tenders have closed for a sprawling South Island property which includes the popular Golden Bay Holiday Park, 6ha of freehold land, and riparian rightsto Tukurua Beach.
The Bayleys agent selling the beach property said he was "flat out" preparing paperwork for the property owners who were to spend the next three hours in his office looking at offers.
"We have had offers coming in right up til the last minute so my computer is running hot," Doug McKee said.
"I'll spend a few hours showing the owners the offers and they can take them away and consider things."
McKee said he was unsure if one of the tenders would be accepted or if the owners would extend the marketing time.
"We will know more by early next week," he said.
"It would have been good to have a bit more time because a few more interested parties have come forward and people haven't had enough time to do their due diligence."

More than 75 parties expressed an interest in the South Island property, which has a current valuation of $2.83m.
McKee said there was strong interest from overseas buyers and also a small syndicate of local families who wanted to keep it for their own personal use.
But McKee said the highest level of interest was from those wanting to buy it "because they love it" but who would also continue owning it as a business.
The campground business was a virtual "turn-key" operation, McKee said.
It has 200 camping sites - powered and unpowered - seven cabins that can sleep up to six people each and two architecturally designed, 5-star rated luxury beach houses, with plans for 10 more.
McKee said there was room to expand the luxury cabin side of the business which would extend the lucrative holiday season.
