A tsunami warning issued for all New Zealand coastal areas has now been cancelled.
The warning was issued after a magnitude 7.9 earthquake in Papua New Guinea.
The warning was issued by the Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management.
In their latest tweet at 1.06am, civil defence said no
evacuations were necessary.
