Emergency services are currently working to remove an overturned stock truck in South Waikato.
The circumstances of the incident are not yet known; however, police were called out to the intersection of State Highway 1 and Te Rere Road, in Lichfield, just after 6.30pm.
The driver was not injured andhas since been pulled from the vehicle; which was not carrying stock at the time.

Diversions are in place via Wiltsdown Road onto Paraonui Road southbound and Rollett Road onto Paraonui Road northbound.
