Save A sticky spill south of Coromandel has forced the partial closure of State Highway 5.
The incident occurred when a truck lost a load of liquid sugar on Manaia Rd, police said.
Motorists were advised to expect delays as the road was down to one lane.
It was not yet
known how long the spill would take to clear. The Fire Service was assisting, police said.
