A seriously injured driver is being flown to hospital by rescue helicopter after a truck crash north of Auckland this morning.
A truck hit a tree on Kaipara Flat Rd at 9.40am.
Firefighters cut the driver from the crushed cab.
He was believed to be seriously injured.
The spokesman said
firefighters prepared a landing site for the Westpac rescue helicopter to ferry the driver to hospital for treatment.
