Truck crash on Waipuna Bridge in Panmure causing delays

Traffic is extremely heavy in the Panmure area after a crash between a people mover and a truck on the Waipuna Bridge.

Police were first called at 6pm to reports of the crash, which was blocking lane two on the Mt Wellington side of the bridge, heading east along Pakuranga Highway.

A police spokeswoman said no one was reported trapped or injured but one of the cars was smoking. Police arrived at the incident about 6.50pm.
