A truck breakdown on Auckland's Southern Motorway is causing traffic to back up between East Tamaki and Ellerslie this morning.
The breakdown is blocking lane three citybound and police are there, the NZTA has reported.
Southbound lanes are free flowing.
The Northern, Northwestern and Southwestern motorways were all experiencing heavy
flows of traffic into the city shortly after 8am.
And those travelling on the Southern and Onehunga train lines should expect minor delays because of n earlier fault, the NZTA said.
