Rakesh Kumar Chawdhry, 61, will stand trial in November on 16 sex charges alleged to have happened while working as a GP at the Riccarton Clinic between January 2011 and December 2015.
A new charge allegingthat he indecently assaulted a man on August 1, 2013, was laid today at Christchurch District Court.
Defence counsel Paul Wicks QC said Chawdhry pleaded not guilty to all charges.
A four-week jury trial is now set to begin on November 13.
