The incident won't affect the Auckland v Taranaki ITM Cup game this afternoon - which is due to kick off at 2.35pm.
Eden Park chief executive David Kennedy said the power outage at the venue had been fixed.
"It's all up and running again now. It knocked out power to us for some of the park, for some of the thing, but it's all back up and running now. Everything has returned to normal."
Vector spokeswoman Sandy Hodge said the company had people onsite immediately to deal with the power outages experienced by "a couple of people".
"It would have sounded like a bit of a bang," Ms Hodge said.
"We've got guys there now and it shouldn't take too long to fix things up. It's quite isolated."
