In March he married long-term girlfriend Sally Coleman in Auckland.
Coleman is flying back to New Zealand with the body before the funeral on Tuesday.
Boustridge was the son of Ian Boustridge, a jade sculptor who helped design the suit worn by Prime Minister John Key to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's wedding in 2011.
Boustridge's family earlier said in a statement: "Clark has been taken from us far too soon, but we will all cherish our memories of him.
"He was a true family man, and his wit and grin produced endless laughter and happiness for all who knew him.
"He will be remembered for his contagious spark, and his love for Sally and his family, life and for Christmas - our festive Ray Ray."
They added: "Ray was with friends when he slipped and fell. However, those closest to Ray would like him to be remembered for the wonderful man he was, rather than the tragic accident which took him away from them.
"Sally and family would like to thank everyone for all the generous gestures of love and support they have received."
