A minor car crash and a bus breakdown has led to a slow crawl through Auckland's central motorway this lunchtime.
Traffic is down to a crawl between Spaghetti Junction and Remuera.
Fire Service northern communication shift manager Colin Underdown said a bus had broken down at the Symonds St offramp heading north just after midday.
Just 10 minutes later near Greenlane two cars were involved in a minor nose-to-tail accident on the southbound lanes.
Two lanes were blocked and traffic had quickly banked up.

This crash scene now cleared from lanes. Traffic remains heavy from the CBD to Market Rd southbound. Citybound traffic is also heavy from Penrose to Greenlane. Allow extra time.

Motorists were warned to expect delays and take care merging past the crashed vehicles.
The bus, which experienced an electrical fault, had since been moved off the motorway and police were now at the Greenlane smash moving the vehicles to the side of the road.
