8.50am: Before we wrap up for today, here's the big stories we will be following: the 31-year-old man arrested during an AOS call-out in Titirangi will be in court today. Also in the courts, the trial for an Auckland teenager accused of murdering 17-year-old Luke Tipene is set to continue today. 8.29am: A lion has killed a Zimbabwe guide in the same game reserve where Cecil the lion lived. Quinn Swales, 40, was savaged by what is believed to have been a male lion as he followed it on foot in the centre of the 14,000 square mile park, The Telegraph reported. Read the story here.
