It's a new year and a new look for John Andrew Mazda, with the opening of a stylish and functional dealership in central Auckland.

Work on the new home for John Andrew Mazda (at 38 Great North Rd) began early in 2011 and was completed at the end of the year.

Paul Brown, dealer principal of John Andrew Mazda, says he is absolutely delighted with the new premises.

"Extensive use of glass and modern finishes give the showroom a light, contemporary feel with versatile functionality," said Brown.

"Up to 10 new Mazda vehicles can be displayed in the 700sq m showroom, which features a 6m-high ceiling and tiled floors."

The up-to-the-minute workshop is equipped to service 14 vehicles at one time.

Access to the service department is fully covered and the comfortable customer lounge has WiFi and easy access to the showroom.

Mazda NZ managing director Andrew Clearwater says the new dealership is the perfect place to showcase the new range of Mazda vehicles.

Mazda NZ has also made an impact online, as it joins the social network Facebook.

The company is offering $15,000 worth of outdoor gear from R&R Sport to the winning user who "likes" the page and enters the Mazda BT-50 competition.
