Top of Piha's Lion Rock to stay off limits

Daytrippers can no longer puff their way to the 101m summit of Lion Rock at Piha. The climb will now end at a grassy shoulder on the rock, after the Auckland Regional Council's parks and recreation committee decided not to reopen the top third of the track, which was lost in a rockslide 16 months ago.
