The Tongan Prime Minister has laid a wreath at Auckland War Memorial Museum this afternoon.
Accompanied by MP Sam Lotu-Iiga, Prime Minister Samuela 'Akilisi Pohiva laid a wreath at the plinth in the museum's Hall of Memories.
After the wreath was laid the Last Post was played, and The Ode
was recited in Maori and English.
A minute's silence was then observed.
The party then departed the museum to visit the University of Auckland's law school.
