Toffee bars recalled over egg white

Weight Watchers Australia has recalled its Rich Toffee bars because they contain egg white, which was not declared on the label.

Weight Watchers says the bars could pose a health risk to consumers who are intolerant to egg white.

Consumers who are allergic to eggs should not consume the product, it says.

Weight Watchers has recalled 5 x 28g Rich Toffee bars sold at Weight Watchers meetings and over the internet with the best-before date of March 2009 and batch codes L8079 or L8080.
