The Wairarapa Times-Age has increased its circulation in the first three months of the year, according to the latest audit results.
The latest ABC audited circulation results, released yesterday, saw the Wairarapa Times-Age increase its circulation in the first three months of the year by 0.4 per cent.
At the same time, Nielsen readership showed the Times-Age readership at 9000, down from 11,000 in the previous period.
General manager Andrew Denholmnoted the readership statistics were a quarterly release based off a database with a sample drawn from only 64 respondents.
Data from a larger sample size, for the period to June 2014, will be released in late August.
He said to grow circulation in the first three months of the year was a fantastic result.
"We're working incredibly hard on content and layout to present a great product, and selling more papers is testimony to the hard work put in by the team," Mr Denholm said.
