Three tourists injured in car crash

Three tourists have been injured in a a car crash in northern Southland.

Senior Sergeant Bruce Terry of Invercargill police says the the car left the road, rolled over a fence and ended up in a ditch near Kingston just before 9am.

He said the three were not seriously injured and were taken to Frankton for treatment.

There had been some rain in the area, Mr Terry said.
