Save Three people have been taken to hospital - one in a serious condition - following a car crash near Taupo.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash, near the intersection of Mountain Rd and State Highway 5, shortly before noon.
One of the victims is understood to have suffered
critical injuries.
The crash resulted in one lane being blocked but the road has now been cleared and re-opened.
