Three quakes hit Fiordland

Three earthquakes shook Fiordland yesterday adding to a string of tremors that have hit the region since the 7.8 quake a fortnight ago.

At 8am a 5.1 quake struck 110km west of Tuatapere. That was soon followed by a 5.0 quake 130km west of Tuatapere at 8.43am. Then at 2.06pm, a 5.0 quake struck 90km northwest of Tuatapere.
