Police are attending a crash between two cars in Te Puke.

The crash happened at 5.40pm on Te Matai Road between Mark and Waimea Road.

Two people have sustained serious injuries and third has moderate injuries.

Police, fire and ambulance are attending.

It is unclear what, if any road closures are in place.
