Murton, the field crime manager at the Canterbury CIB, said the man and woman would appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow facing a number charges, including possession of methamphetamine for supply, supplying methamphetamine and possession of a firearm.
An 18-year-old man was also arrested at a separate address in Christchurch, and he has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply.
The search warrants follow an extensive investigation by police over the past three months into a number of members and associates of the Tribesman gang, Murton said.
Six other members and associates have also been arrested over the past few months, and are facing a variety of charges relating to firearms, methamphetamine, kidnapping, aggravated robbery and receiving stolen property.
"We are focused on targeting gangs and drug dealers in the Canterbury region.
"These search warrants and arrests are the culmination of several months' work targeting suppliers of methamphetamine, to reduce the harm it causes within our community."
