Three people have been arrested in Panmure after police pursued a stolen car off Hinaki St just before 4pm this afternoon.

A police spokesman said the short pursuit ended when the stolen car crashed and the three people inside ran from it.

One person was arrested at the scene, he said, and the other two were arrested nearby a short time later.
