New Zealand election discussions are ramping up on social media as the country gets close to election date.
Twitter even launched a special Kiwi election emoji this week, a little kiwi with a voting slip that automatically appears when a user posts the hashtags #nzpol, #decision17 or #vote17.
According to
Twitter, the most discussed topics of this election on the social network are immigration (46 per cent), followed by economics (19 per cent) and security (18 per cent).
