A quad bike, three motorbikes and a chainsaw have been stolen from Marlborough homes this week - prompting police to issue a warning for residents to lock up their sheds.
Marlborough Police said officers have received several reports of property being stolen this week.
A quad bike was nabbed from
a property on Mills Rd and Ford Rd on Wednesday night and a chainsaw was stolen from a neighbouring property, police said.
Three motorbikes were stolen in Kaikoura earlier this week but they have been since recovered nearby, police said.
A large number of tools were also taken from a home in the Mayfield area.
