Members of the struggling Carrington Bowling & Croquet Club have appealed for the return of their stolen trailer.
Carrington Bowling & Croquet Club members have been left to fend for themselves after their club trailer was stolen from a member's Park Road property late last week.
The trailer services the Bowling and Croquet Club and assists in grounds maintenance and the theft has not been covered by anyinsurance.
Pauline Hodgson has been a member of the bowling club for five years and can't believe a fellow member of the community could take something so important to the club.
"The insurance company says we're not covered, my personal insurance said I'm not covered," she said.
"The bowling club just assumed that there would be something to cover such an important asset to our club."
The trailer is very distinct as its base is detailed with red oxidised paint and has a registration number of R141L.
Hodgson said she was not sure whether it went missing during the day or at night, but there had been a couple of recent incidents of property crime in her area.
"In the past six months alone, there have been two other property crimes in the Park Road area," she said.
The club bought the trailer four years ago for about $1200 and would be forced to buy a second-hand one if the stolen trailer was not returned.
"Please give it back, we're struggling to survive as a club and now we'll have to get some funding to cover it." She asked that if the trailer was seen, by anyone that they please call the police immediately.
