The best music of 2007

Amazon.com has released its list of the 100 best music releases of 2007.

The list was picked by the editors of the popular American consumer website and has been an annual tradition for the past eight years.

Heading the list is The Reminder by Feist. Feist is the solo project of Canada's Leslie Feist, a prolific artist who has also played in one capacity or another with Broken Social Scene, Kings of Convenience and half a dozen other bands.

The top 10 includes:

2. Sound of Silver - LCD Soundsystem
3. Graduation - Kanye West
4. In Rainbows - Radiohead
5. Back to Black - Amy Winehouse
6. Neon Bible - Arcade Fire
7. Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga - Spoon
8. New Moon - Elliott Smith
9. Wincing the Night Away - The Shins
10. Raising Sand - Robert Plant and Alison Krauss

A list of Amazon.com's top 100 bestselling CDs for 2007 has also been released. The list included such popular titles as Not Too Late by Norah Jones, High School Musical 2, It Won't Be Soon Before Long by Maroon 5 and Magic by Brice Springsteen.
