Telecom CEO hit by car

Telecom's chief executive Theresa Gattung is recovering at home after being hit by a car in Wellington.

Ms Guttung was struck as she walked across the pedestrian crossing outside the Freyberg Pool on Oriental Parade yesterday morning.

Sergeant Simon Paterson said a vehicle which slowed down for her was hit from behind by another. He says Ms Gattung was knocked over and has been treated in hospital for minor injuries.

Police are considering laying charges against the driver of the second vehicle.
