Emergency services are at the scene of yet another water emergency.
A 16-year-old boy has been pulled from the water at Tairua, in the Coromandel today.
St John sent two ambulances and a first response unit to the beach about 11.43am, a spokeswoman said.
Paramedics treated the boy at the
scene, stabilising him on the beach, she said.
The teen was being transported to Thames Hospital about 12.45pm in a status three, or moderate, condition, she said.
