A teenager who robbed three Auckland banks while suffering from a methamphetamine-fuelled psychosis has been jailed.
Tamati Bartlett-Nahu, 19, of Avondale, pleaded guilty to robbing three banks last June after telling staff he had a gun in his jacket.
He stole $2385 from Kiwibank in Mt Eden on June 9,
$5000 from ASB St Lukes on June 13 and $2000 from National Bank Newmarket the following day.
Bartlett-Nahu was sentenced to three years and three months in prison in the Auckland District Court last week.
