A 15-year-old was flown to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest this morning.
The teenage boy was at home, in Te Kuiti, when he became ill.
Paramedics carried out CPR and used a defibrillator on the teen before a rescue helicopter arrived.
Intensive care paramedics from Hamilton flew to the
site on the Waikato Rescue Helicopter.
The teenager was flown to Te Kuiti Hospital, where he was stabilised, then flown to Waikato Hospital.
