A teenage boy has been flown to hospital after his quadbike collided with a sheep.
The Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to a Te Kauwhata farm about 6.30pm yesterday, said a spokeswoman.
"They treated a teenage male patient who had been involved in a motorbike accident.
"He had been
riding the bike at high speed when he had hit a sheep and fallen over the bike's handlebars."
The boy was flown to Waikato Hospital in a moderate condition with a leg injury.
