Save A woman involved in a crash near Owen River in Nelson last month died today at Wellington Hospital.
She was 18-year-old Kathleen Mary McInroe of Ikamatua in Buller.
Ms McInroe suffered serious head injuries when her car and a light truck collided on State Highway 6 on August 24.
The
73-year-old driver of the truck remained in a serious but stable condition in an induced coma at Wellington Hospital, police said.
Police said a serious crash investigation was still underway, and Ms McInroe's death had been referred to the coroner.
