A 16-year-old girl is dead after a single-vehicle crash near Wanganui overnight.
The crash happened on State Highway 1, south of Hunterville, about 55km from Wanganui, about 12.30am.
The teen was a passenger in a white Toyota travelling south.
Five other people were taken to hospitals in Wanganui and Palmerston
