Save Five people were involved in a two-car crash on the Desert Road yesterday afternoon.
The Taupo-based Greenlea Rescue Helicopter airlifted a 15-year-old from one car and the driver from the other vehicle to Palmerston North Hospital.
Helicopter pilot Todd Dunham said three of the five people involved in the crash
needed medical attention.
A baby who was in the same car as the 15-year-old was uninjured. The other vehicle's driver was the sole occupant.
