Save Fire crews have battled a house fire for five hours in the Bay of Plenty.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesman said they recieved multiple calls about a house on fire in Te Puke about 5pm yesterday.
“On arrival, crews found a well involved residential house on fire and
the incident was escalated to a second alarm.
“Six trucks from Greerton, Maketū, Mount Maunganui, Pāpāmoa and Te Puke were sent.”
