Taxi driver questioned over Mangere hit-and-run

Police were yesterday speaking to a taxi driver after a hit-and-run accident in Mangere on Sunday night.

A man was taken to hospital in a critical condition after being hit while crossing Roberston Rd. The driver left the scene but handed himself into police yesterday morning.

The pedestrian is still in hospital.
