Police have identified a man found dead on New Plymouth’s Fitzroy Beach this morning.
The man was found on the shoreline around 6.50am.
Police confirmed they had identified the man after earlier appealing for help from the public.
He was thought to be in his 50s, of thin buildwith a white beard and wearing a high-vis shirt and black sweatpants.
